Vous l’avez bien compris, j’admire beaucoup le travail de ceux qui fabriquent, construisent, montent à la main du mobilier, des objets ou autres dans des matériaux nobles. Ces chaises pour enfants sont fabriquées avec des pièces de bois recyclés par John de l’atelier boutique Bookhou situé au Canada. Ce sont des pièces uniques et pour cause, que l’on peut commander spécialement. Bookhou regroupe aussi les créations fait main d’Arounna, sa compagne… Encore une ravissante boutique en ligne à explorer par ICI.

You’re aware now that I really admire the work of those who build, create by hand furniture, or other objects in natural materials. These child’s chairs are made from pieces of recycled wood by John from the Canadian workshop and shop Bookhou. These pieces are of course unique and can be specially ordered. Bookhou also includes handmade creations by Arounna his wife… Still a lovely webshop to explore right Here.

Que de talents… Pour un de mes thèmes favori, l’artisanat contemporain et innovant. Designboom avait lancé le concours international  » The intelligent Hand ». Ils viennent de mettre en ligne les gagnants et ceux qui ont obtenus une mention honorable. Voici seulement quelques réalisations, mais n’hésitez pas à découvrir toute la sélection de grande qualité par ICI. Cliquer sur les noms pour avoir les détails et intentions des designers.

Voici quelques phrases pour expliquer le thème du concours: « L’artisanat est tout sauf une forme d’art défunte et peut se trouver dans n’importe quel domaine d’activité imaginable. L’ artisanat fabrique des produits de qualité supérieure, avec une attention aux détails qui reflète le soin de l’artisan. En combinant les compétences, l’engagement et le jugement, l’artisan établit une relation étroite entre la tête et la main, l’homme et la machine, qui est vitale pour notre santé physique, mentale et bien-être sociétal… L’artisan est constamment à la recherche de nouveaux outils et techniques pour améliorer les processus de travail. Avec imagination, il ou elle joue le rôle de l’ingénieur industriel, qui est normalement chargé d’une telle tâche. … »

What talent… For one of my favorite themes, the contemporary and innovative craft. Designboom had launched an international competition « The Intelligent Hand ». J’aime l’architecture moderne et toute simple de cette maison de ville située à Landskrona en Suède, coincée entre des plus anciennes. L’idée était de projeter trois plaques minces dans le volume ouvert, qui divisent ainsi les différentes fonctions de la maison. L’espace intérieur en continu s’ouvre sur la rue, un jardin intime et le ciel. Réalisation par le cabinet d’architecture suédois Elding Oscarson. I really like this modern and simple arcjitecture of this townhouse located in Landskrona, Sweden, wedged between the oldest. Three thin slabs are projected into the open volume, softly dividing its functions. The continuous interior space is opening up to the street, to an intimate garden, and to the sky. By Swedish architect firm Elding Oscarson.
