« Flexibility  design in a fast-changing society »  is one of the many events taking place in turin this year in conjunction with the city being named the « Design world capital for 2008″. Renewable clothing par Fernando Brizio est l’une des installations, « une mise en couleur » de feutres dans les poches de robes. Des changements apparaissent au fil du temps, à moins d’une heure, à une heure et demie, l’encre forme une tache sur le tissu et crée un design nouveau à chaque utilisation. On peut alors nettoyer la robe et la réinventer d’une manière différente à chaque fois.

Renewable clothing by Fernando Brízio is one of the installation by placing colored felt-tip pens in the pockets of the dress its appearance changes over time. Within an hour, to one and a half hours, the colored ink bleeds into the fabric and creates a one-off design for each occasion. You can then clean the dress and color it in a different way for each time you wear it.

Chasen par Patricia Urquiola (en collaboration avec Flos et Kartell)  elle explique « …Chasen est un dispositif d’éclairage conçu et présenté dans un espace hors du contexte, dans lequel les différentes influences culturelles sont mélangées dans un melting-pot qui allie tradition et modernité… Chasen est « l’interprète » d’un échange ou mélange entre le monde technologique actuel et multiculturel…  ». 

Chasen by Patricia Urquiola (in collaboration with flos and kartell) She explains that Chasen « … is an illuminating device… the project is presented in a decontextualised space, in which different cultural influences are mixed in a meltingpot that combines tradition and modernity. therefore « chasen » wants to become the interpreter of an exchange or mix between the current technological world and some multicultural echoes of behaviors… ».
