Je ne sais pas vous, mais j’adorerai vivre dans un habitat vraiment insolite, une ancienne usine, une ancienne école, etc… et même si on voit peu cet appartement je ne résiste pas à vous le montrer parce qu’il est totalement étonnant. L’architecte Monica Donati a aménagé son appartement avec vue sur tout Paris dans un beffroi du XIXème siècle qui servait de château d’eau au sommet d’un immeuble bourgeois. Elle l’a totalement créé sur 80m² et quatre niveaux avec une vue sur Paris à 360°; à l’est, la Tour Eiffel, au sud, le Champs de Mars, à l’ouest les Invalides, le Panthéon et Notre-Dame, au nord, le Grand Palais, l’Arc de Triomphe et Montmartre. Elle a conservé une des deux immenses cuves d’acier, pour loger l’escalier en colimaçon, qui composées la tour. Au premier niveau, se trouvent les deux chambres et leur salle de bains séparées par des cloisons japonaises. Au second, la cuisine salle à manger offre une vue panoramique sur les toits et les monuments parisiens. Au troisième, Monica a installé le salon qui abritait autrefois le mécanisme d’une horloge dont les quatre cadrans ont été partiellement découpés pour permettre d’admirer la vue sur la capitale avec une hauteur sous plafond de 6 mètres. Accessible par une échelle, le quatrième niveau est occupé par un hamac, suspendu sous les combles. Qu’en pensez-vous ? Profiter de la vue sur la Tour Eiffel, y compris depuis son lit, un rêve, non ? I don’t know about you, but me, I would like living in a really unusual habitat, a former factory, a former school, etc … and even if we can’t see very well this apartment I can’t resist to show it to you because it’s totally surprising. The architect Monica Donati fitted out her apartment with a view on all Paris in a belfry of the nineteenth century who used to serve as a water tower on the top of a bourgeois building ! She has created entirely on 80m2 and four levels with a view on Paris at 360°, in the east the Eiffel Tower, in the south, the Champs de Mars,on the  west the Invalides, the Pantheon and Notre Dame , in the north, the Grand Palais, the Arc de Triomphe and Montmartre. She has preserved one of two huge steel vats, to accommodate the spiral staircase, which made up the tower. At the first level are two bedrooms and bathroom  separated by Japanese partitions. To the second level, the kitchen, dining room offers a panoramic view over the rooftops and monuments of Paris. In the third, Monica has installed the living room that sheltered the mechanism of a clock with four dials have been partially cut to admire the view over the capital with a ceiling height of 6 meters. Accessible by a ladder, the fourth level is occupied by a hammock, suspended under the attic. What do you think?
