Si je vous dis, carnets, design, artistes, Japon, vous pensez à quoi ? pour moi ces mots résonnent comme des obsessions mais sont surtout au coeur de ce qui suit… Si vous avez la chance d’être au Japon, l’exposition itinérante de Moleskine, Detour, atterrie aujourd’hui à Tokyo et sera présentée jusqu’au 4 Novembre 2009 au MoMA Store Design d’Omotesando.

Tous les auteurs participants à Detour Tokyo ont fait don de leurs carnets à la fondation Lettera 27 dont la mission est de soutenir le droit à l’alphabétisation, l’éducation et l’accès aux connaissances dans les pays en développement.

Cinquante carnets seront exposés dont 23 d’entre eux appartiennent à des personnalités japonaises comme Toyo Ito, architecte; Mamoru Oshii,  dessinateur de  mangas et réalisateur de films; Kazuyo Sejima et Ryue Nishizawa, architectes du studio Sanaa, qui a conçu le New Museum à NY, Kenya Hara, directeur artistique de Muji, Naoto Fukasawa, star internationale du design industriel; Takashi Homma, photographe; Erina Matsui, illustrateur, peintre.

Avec les nouveaux participants japonais, 7 autres nouveaux auteurs internationaux seront présentés, y compris les designers Tord Boontje et les Frères Campana.

If I tell you, notebooks, design, artists, Japan what are you thinking about? For me these words sound like obsessions but they are almost the foundations of this following event…If you are lucky to be in Japan today and until November 4, 2009 Detour, Moleskine travelling exhibition, will be at the MoMA Design Store of Omotesando, Tokyo.

All Detour Tokyo authors donated their notebooks to the non profit Foundation Lettera 27 whose mission is to support the right to literacy, education and the access to knowledge in developing countries.

Fifty notebooks will be displayed and 23 of them by Japanese authors like Toyo Ito, architect; Mamoru Oshii, manga cartoon artist and film director; Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue NIshizawa, architects of studio Sanaa, who designed the New Museum in NY, Kenya Hara, creative director of Muji; Naoto Fukasawa, international star of industrial design; Takashi Homma, photographer; Erina Matsui, illustrator, painter.

Together with the new Japanese authors, 7 new international authors will be featured, including Tord Boontje and the Campana Brothers.
